Ways of Being of Service
Every engagement at Sana Providence begins with a conversation. What is offered here is not a menu of transactions — it is an invitation to be accompanied through one of life's most profound passages. If something here resonates, reach out. We will find the right form of support together.
End-of-Life Doula Support
When someone we love is dying — or when we begin to sense our own horizon approaching — the need is rarely for more medical information. It is for someone who can be present without flinching. Someone who knows this territory and is not afraid of it.
As a trained end-of-life doula, I offer non-medical accompaniment to individuals and families through the dying process — from the first difficult conversations to the final breath and beyond.
This includes:
— Guidance and education about what to expect as death approaches
— Legacy work — capturing stories, values, and what matters most
— Vigil planning and presence at the bedside
— Support for family members carrying the weight of this passage
— Early bereavement support in the days and weeks following death
This work is offered in assisted living facilities, memory care settings, hospice environments, and private homes throughout Boulder, Colorado.
These services are non-medical in nature and complement — rather than replace — hospice and palliative care.
Ministerial Presence & Sacred Ceremony
As a non-denominational Licensed Minister, I offer sacred presence at life's most tender moments — the bedside vigil, the final blessing, the ceremony of farewell. This is not religious instruction. It is the ancient, quiet work of holding space for what words cannot fully reach.
I meet each person and family exactly where they are — regardless of religious tradition, spiritual background, or belief. What matters is not doctrine but presence: the willingness to sit in the sacred silence of a threshold moment and bear witness with care and reverence.
This includes:
— Sacred vigil presence and blessing
— Threshold rituals and farewell ceremonies
— Spiritual companionship for older adults exploring life's deepest questions
— Memorial and remembrance ceremonies
— Ongoing spiritual conversation for those preparing for the end of life
Ministerial services are spiritual in nature and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or legal care.
Spiritual Companionship & Energy Work
Not all threshold work happens at the bedside. Some of the most profound conversations about death, meaning, and what lies ahead take place years before the final chapter — quietly, over time, between someone who is ready to ask the questions and someone who is not afraid to sit with them.
Drawing on nearly thirty years of energy work practice and formal training, I offer spiritual companionship to older adults and family members who are seeking — not answers exactly, but a grounded, trustworthy presence for the questions that matter most.
This includes:
— Ongoing spiritual conversation and companionship
— Energy work sessions to support inner peace and clarity
— Intuitive support for those navigating significant life transitions
— Mentorship for family members carrying grief, fear, or uncertainty
— Support available in person in Boulder or online for select sessions
These services are offered as spiritual and complementary practice under the Colorado Complementary and Alternative Health Care Act. They are not medical diagnosis, treatment, or psychotherapy.
